KidCity
KidCity meets every Sunday following worship. We invite kids above the age of 3 to join their parents during worship, and then they will be invited downstairs to their Sunday School classroom for the remainder of the service.

When you check your kid(s) in, you will receive a Parent Tag as well as a Child Tag for each child you check in. The Child Tag is placed on your child, and the Parent Tag is to be kept with you until the end of the gathering. For security purposes, you will need the Parent Tag in order to check your child out of KidCity. If this tag is lost, you will need to see the KidCity Producer at the Check-In Station after the gathering in order to have another one printed.
-
Check out will be at the KidCity Classroom where your child was checked in. You can make your way there as soon as the gathering is over and present your Parent Tag to one of the teachers who will check that the code on your tag matches the code on the child tag before releasing your child to you.
-
If for any reason we need to get a hold of you throughout the gathering, we will do so by text message to the phone number on your Child’s profile (and Child Tag). If we cannot get a hold of you via text, we will send a team member up to the Sanctuary to ask you to come down to KidCity.

Our Nursery is available for children ages 6mo-36mo and is open at 9:45am for check in. You can drop your kids off before heading upstairs for the gathering. If your child is having a hard time we will do our best to help them adjust but will contact you if they are crying for more than 15 minutes without any indication of stopping. We will also contact you if your child needs a diaper change. You are free to leave a bottle or bag for your child but please make sure it is clearly labeled.

Our kids ages 3-11 are invited to head upstairs for worship after checking in and will be dismissed to go to their classrooms before the teaching begins. Their classroom teachers will meet them either at the back of the Sanctuary or in the front right of the Sanctuary with a wooden sign indicating which classroom they are leading downstairs. You are welcome to accompany them downstairs and return back upstairs if you’d like to see the classroom they will be in for check-out.

If you need a private space for nursing, there is a designated section of the balcony for you. Diaper changing stations are available there and in nursery.
Our goal at Sanctuary is to partner with families in nurturing children to follow the path of Jesus. We want our kids to learn about God, but we want so much more than that. Our desire is that every child would have the opportunity to encounter God every single Sunday. We believe that God desires to have an intimate relationship with each child that comes through our doors.
Our role is not to mediate this relationship, but to facilitate an encounter with God. Furthermore, it is our goal that everything we do on a Sunday would empower parents to take the lead in the discipleship of their kids at home. We believe that parents who are following Jesus are the primary and most effective agents of discipleship in the lives of their kids. Parents wield more influence, time, and spiritual authority in their children’s lives than we ever will, so we want our programming to reflect that reality.
