Tear Down Team

Everything you need on Sunday.
Call time: 10 minutes after service, in the lobby.

The win: Dismantle and store everything quickly and safely after every gathering.

Huddle first. Check in with each teammate, then start tearing down.

Sunday checklist (Text block, or an Accordion block with one item per row)

  • KidsCity: Pipe and drape, check-in station, dots, signs

  • Indoor signs: Large pop-up, KidsCity, etc.

  • Outdoor signs: Visitor lot, parking, etc.

  • Coffee and water: Empty and clean the urn, put all supplies under the table

  • Lobby tables: Next Steps bar, book table, then throw out lobby trash

  • Rally: Team Values banner, speaker, snack cart

  • Communion: Separate GF from regular and return to containers, dump grape juice, wash plates and return them to the closet

  • Sanctuary: Clear litter from pews, crumpled HI cards, etc.

Tip: A laminated checklist lives at the far right end of the sound booth. Split it up, help each other, and everyone leaves when the work is done. Finished first? Lend a hand.

(Button block: "Full detailed checklist" linking to your checklist page)

Can't make it?

  1. Text a teammate first and swap slots.

  2. Emergency or sick? Tell your team leader and producer right away.

  3. Ask your team's WhatsApp for a last-minute replacement.

Before and after Sunday

  • Set your block out dates early. Staff will remind you 1 to 2 months ahead.

  • Read your producer's texts leading up to Sunday.

  • Be at Rally at 9:30. It's part of the team, even for tear down.

  • Fill out the feedback survey after serving. Share wins and misses.

  • Need prayer or support? Reach out to your team lead, producer, or staff.

Team leads and producers (Accordion, so it stays tucked away)

Team lead: Pour into your volunteers, run the huddle (be first there), pass along changes, debrief by text and survey. Low on supplies? Email admin@sanctuaryri.org.

Producer: Oversee the department, send early-week updates and encouragement, attend huddles as able, keep huddle, Rally, and service on time, debrief with leads and staff.

Why we serve

We're preparing the church each week so people can encounter God. Our values: Excellence (fine to best), Servant leadership (me to us), Ownership (spectating to investing), Honor (criticism to blessing), Fun (cynicism to joy).
